Dear Friend and Fellow Traveler:
Young America’s Foundation has been around the world, offering our supporters an in-depth study of the many pressing policy questions facing countries from Australia to Hungary to Argentina and beyond. These study trips have assembled some of the most prominent leaders and heads of state in our world, including Margaret Thatcher, Lech Walesa, Jose María Aznar, Tony Abbott, Ed Meese, and dozens more.
That’s why you will not want to miss another opportunity to travel with like-minded friends, mingle with accomplished leaders, and learn about how your exceptional Young America’s Foundation educates young minds.
Our August 2020 voyage will enable you to experience the pomp and celebration of Edinburgh’s Royal Military Tattoo during a two-day visit and marvel at the wonder of Norway’s Nordfjord and Briksdal Glacier en route to Amsterdam for an overnight stay.
In addition to a fascinating voyage through the North Sea, we will also enjoy remarks from key conservative leaders, including Governor Scott Walker, longtime CKE Restaurants CEO Andy Puzder, Brexit leader and Member of the European Parliament Daniel Hannan, and others.
Prior to setting sail from England on August 8, we invite you to join us for a special tour of vibrant and historic London. (Please inquire for rates and hotel information for this optional pre-cruise tour.)
Even though you’ll be miles away from the creature comforts to which you’re accustomed, you’ll feel most at home with our group of travelers on the newly redesigned and luxurious Crystal Symphony.
We hope you’ll join us on this enriching and educational voyage.

Governor Scott Walker
Young America's Foundation
President
Governor Scott Walker was raised with a heart for public service, patriotism, and hard work. He moved to the small town of Delavan, Wisconsin, when he was in third grade. There, his father was a minister and his mother worked part time as a bookkeeper and secretary. Scott was active in school, sports, church, Scouts, and American Legion's Badger Boys State and Boys Nation programs.
In June 1993, Scott was elected to the state assembly, where he helped lead the way on welfare reform, public safety, and educational opportunities. In 2002, he was elected to the Milwaukee County executive office. In this position, Scott worked to reform the scandal-ridden county government and faithfully kept his promise to spend taxpayer money as if it were his own.
In 2008, he won re-election with nearly 60 percent of the vote. On November 2, 2010, Scott was elected the 45th Governor of Wisconsin. Inheriting a $3.6 billion budget deficit, $800 million worth of unpaid bills, and an eight percent unemployment rate, he immediately implemented reforms to renew economic revival, fiscal order, and government accountability in Wisconsin.
Scott became the only governor in American history to survive a recall election on June 5, 2012. He was re-elected in 2014 and sworn into a second term on January 5, 2015.
He serves on the boards of Students for Life Action, American Federation for Children, and the Center for State-led National Debt Solutions.
Scott and his wife, Tonette, have two adult sons.
